Chocolate and Mint Smoothie

A really simple and delicous chocolate and mint smoothie. I try my best to eat seasonally because food is more nutritious when grown in season. You can play around with the ingredients and add in or take away as you please.


Chocolate and Mint Smoothie


Your Ingredients


  • 1 handful of spinach

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1/4 cup mint leaves

  • 1/2 banana

  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

  • Dash of milk (nut or whole milk)

  • Cacao nibs (optional) 

  • 1/2 tsp honey or maple syrup (if you want to sweeten this slightly)

What to do:


  1. Using a blender add the spinach and water. Blend until smooth.

  2. Once smooth add the other ingredients and blend until you reach your desired consistency.

  3. Serve with cacao nibs or some mint leaves.


For an extra boost of protein you could add a tablespoon of your fave protein powder. If you think it's needs something sweet add a little honey or maple syrup.
