Detoxifying Green Juice

A juice that will get things moving!


Although the topic of elimination is something many people shy away from discussing in an open forum, it is in fact a natural process of the body and one that is vital for our health.Think about it logically, regular elimination will help prevent disease and keep your body clean.


There are many arguments for and against juicing. Some experts suggest it's better to eat your fruit and vegetables, whereas others are all for it.


As someone who has tried the celery juice trend my advice is to listen to your body and not to worry and see how it reacts to any food. I typically introduce this juice after periods like Christmas or during warmer months.


Celery and lemons are full of antioxidants. Lemons are rich in Vitamin C, which boosts collagen production and will also keep your immune system strong. Cucumber is a hydrating fruit. When we eat water rich foods we absorb the water more slowly, which means you stay hydrated for longer.


Detoxing Green Juice


Servings: 1


What you need


  • 1 cucumber (skin on)

  • 1 lemon (peeled)

  • 6 stalks of celery

  • 2 inches of ginger (skin on)


You can replace the lemon with a lime. I also suggest sticking to organic celery where possible.


What to do


  1. Wash and prepare your ingredients.

  2. Run your fruit and vegetables through a juicer.

  3. This juice is best consumed in the moment.
